Everything built on concrete inherits what the concrete got wrong, which is why the big pours are the work we take the most seriously. We dig and pour footings, form stem walls, fill and compact, run the steel, and pour the slab flat and on grade — for houses, garages, shops, barns and equipment pads across Knoxville, Maryville, Alcoa and Jefferson City. A lot of what you see in the gallery below is exactly that: the part of the project nobody photographs after the walls go up, done right while it still shows.
Dug to solid ground, poured and formed straight. The part of the build nobody ever sees again is the part that decides whether the rest of it moves.
Base compacted, steel in, poured and finished in one operation so the slab works as one piece instead of a patchwork.
Pads for metal buildings, detached garages and workshops — square and level, so the building that lands on top goes up without a fight.

Concrete Driveways
A driveway is the concrete you use every single day, and the one everyone can see from the street. We grade it so water leaves the slab, compact the base so it does not settle into a washboard, reinforce it for what is actually going to park on it, and finish it clean — from a straight two-car pad to a long drive that runs from the road to the house. New pours and full replacements across Knoxville, Maryville, Alcoa and Jefferson City.
Water that stands on a slab in East Tennessee freezes in it. We form to a real fall so the driveway sheds instead of ponding.
Most failed driveways failed underneath first. The ground gets compacted before a single form goes up.
We pour the short ones and the ones that run a few hundred feet to the road, plus wide pads and extra parking.
Sidewalks & Walkways
Walkways are small pours that get treated carelessly, and then they heave, crack and trip people. We treat them like the driveways: graded, compacted, formed to the curve the yard actually calls for, and jointed tight so the slab cracks where we told it to. Steps come out even, tread to tread — because uneven steps are the ones people fall on.
A walk that bends with the yard looks designed. One that cuts the corner looks like a shortcut. We form the curve for real.
Formed and poured so every riser matches. That is what makes steps safe, and it is entirely a forming job.
Narrow slabs move more, not less. Joints go in closer so the concrete controls its own cracking.

Patios & Porches
A patio has a different job than a driveway: nobody parks on it, but people walk it barefoot and set furniture on it, so flat and level actually matter. We pour backyard patios, covered patio slabs and front porches with their steps, finished for feet and pitched so the rain runs to the yard instead of to the back door.
A table that rocks tells you everything about the slab under it. Patios get screeded and finished flat.
The slope is invisible to you and everything to your foundation. Water leaves the slab on the yard side.
Front porches poured with their steps, formed so every riser matches and the landing sits level at the door.
Retaining Walls & Leveling
Half of East Tennessee lives on a hill, and that is half of what we get called for. A retaining wall is a drainage problem before it is a stacking problem — water building up behind a wall is what pushes it over — so ours start with a real footing and get backfilled to drain, not just stacked and left. We build the wall, level the ground it unlocks, and pour the concrete that goes on top: the patio, the pad or the driveway. One crew, start to finish.
The wall stands on concrete, not on dirt. That is the difference between a wall and a pile of block.
Stone and drainage behind the wall so the water that hits the hill has somewhere to go that is not against the block.
We cut, fill and level the ground the wall holds back — and then you actually get to use that part of the yard.
